Amalgamation of Southern Housing Group Limited and Optivo

Southern Housing Group Limited has today, 16 December 2022, completed an amalgamation with Optivo pursuant to section 109 of the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014.

The new entity is a community benefit society named Southern Housing and its registration number is 8983.

Paul Hackett CBE has become Chief Executive of Southern Housing and Sir Peter Dixon is the Chair.

Southern Housing Group Limited has previously issued the following bonds (the Bonds):

1)    £125,000,000 4.50 per cent. Secured Bonds due 2039;

2)    £50,000,000 5.364 per cent. Secured Bonds due 2044;

3)    £300,000,000 3.50 per cent. Secured Bonds due 2047; and

4)    £300,000,000 2.375 per cent. Secured Sustainability Bonds due 2036.

Following the Amalgamation, the issuer under the Bonds is now Southern Housing, in place of Southern Housing Group Limited.
